No Hub Couplings
No-Hub Couplings
Engineered to connect no-hub cast iron pipe.
The No-Hub Coupling has a patented shield design that provides maximum transfer of pressure from the clamps to the gasket and pipe. Engineered to connect no-hub cast iron pipe in applications, replacing the less-efficient hub and spigot.
Features
- Patented Bi-Directional Shield Design
The shield adjusts to a variety of a pipes diameters and circumferences--eliminating leak paths. The patented, bi-directional corrugation shield seals pressure in both parallel and transverse patterns on the gasket and pipe to provide a positive, reliable seal. - Connects Cast Iron Pipe to Cast Iron Pipe
Fernco no hub couplings offer long-lasting performance and the preferred way to connecting cast iron pipes together without the need for a traditional hub and spigot joint. - Specially Beaded Gasket
Meeting the requirements of ASTM C564, the beaded gasket consists of an elastomeric compound with strategically positioned grooves and beads. When tightened, the shield attaches to the grooves to provide exceptional sealing pressure and holding power. - Interlocking Clamp Design
The clamps feature a one-piece screw housing that mechanically interlocks to the band. This design eliminates leak paths that can occur in staked or welded clamps. - Floating Eyelet Design
Fastenting the clampes to the shield, the floating eyelets allow the clamp, band and shield to move independently. This freedom prevents the shield from crimping and future leakage..
Specifications
